This species breeds to the north of the county at Cannock Chase.
Until 1997, the only record for the county was for 1984 when it was
found by John Paul at Coleshill Bog. It was probably vagrant.
In 1997 vagrant individuals were seen at Snitterfield Bushes and
Kingsbury Water Park.
A vagrant individual recorded at Marsh Lane Nature Reserve,
Hampton-in-Arden in 2007.
